Job Title: AI Engineer Trainee

Role Overview

We are looking for some passionate and motivated AI Engineers (fresh graduates or early-career professionals) to join our AI & Innovation Technology team. This role is designed to build strong foundational and applied skills in modern AI, including Machine Learning, Generative AI, and real-world AI system development.

The selected candidates will undergo structured training and contribute to live projects under mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist in building and deploying AI/ML models and intelligent applications

·        Work on development of Generative AI use cases (chatbots, copilots, automation tools)

·        Contribute to integrating LLM-based features using APIs and modern frameworks

·        Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and dataset preparation

·        Assist in developing simple RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector search implementations

·        Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, frontend, product)

·        Support model evaluation, testing, and basic performance optimization tasks

·        Participate in POC development and experimentation

·        Stay updated with emerging AI trends and tools

Education:

·        Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering or related field

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        Strong programming skills in Python (preferred)

·        Strong understanding of:

Ø  Data Structures & Algorithms

Ø  Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Solid foundation in:

Ø  Machine Learning fundamentals

Ø  Probability, Statistics, and Linear Algebra

• Basic knowledge of:

Ø  REST APIs and backend systems

Ø  Databases (SQL/NoSQL)

• Familiarity with:

Ø  ML/DL frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Keras)

Ø  Data analysis and visualization tools (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Jupyter Notebook/Colab)

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with ability to work in a global team

• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment

Preferred Skills

·        Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to Generative AI / LLMs

·        Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts

·        Awareness of embeddings and vector databases

·        Exposure to tools like LangChain or LlamaIndex (nice to have)

·        Experience using AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)

·        Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

·        Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization

·        Exposure to NLP (Natural Language Processing), Computer Vision, Chatbot development

·        Experience with Academic or personal AI/ML projects

·        Participation in hackathons, Kaggle, or coding competitions (optional)
