Education:
    • Bachelor/Honors
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Master’s degree (MBA in SCM/Operations) will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:
  • Age At least 40 years
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Management within the export-oriented garment manufacturing industry, preferably jackets or outerwear.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (material planning, PO management, cost control).
  • Proven experience in material sourcing, supplier negotiation, wash sourcing, and cost management.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Purpose

The AGM/DGM, SCM will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring timely sourcing, cost control, inventory optimization, ERP compliance, and seamless coordination with merchandising, production, washing, and local & International suppliers to support on-time shipment and cost efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Source raw materials, trims, and services and negotiate prices to ensure competitive costing and quality of the product.

  • Connect with national and international suppliers and source the best quality product with the most competitive pricing to better support our valued customers.

  • Ensure timely in-house and availability of materials through close coordination with the Merchandising team, based on merchant confirmation, TNA, and ERP data.

  • Review, verify, and confirm all post-costing details as per approved budget and buyer requirements.

  • Regularly review TNA and keep Merchandising teams updated to avoid production or shipment delays.

  • Monitor ERP Purchase Order (PO) consumption and post-cost fund utilization against approved budget cost raised by the Merchandising team.

  • Ensure accurate data entry of all ERP POs to prevent duplication and maintain strict budget control.

  • Select washing sources, negotiate wash prices, and follow up on timely delivery from washing factories while maintaining quality standards.

  • Manage documentation, bills, follow-up, and timely processing of payments for all suppliers.

  • Coordinate with the LOC department to optimize utilization of stock and leftover materials, minimizing wastage.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, and internal control procedures related to SCM.

  • Prepare and analyze SCM-related reports and present updates to management on cost, delivery, and supplier performance.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, service providers, and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead, guide, and evaluate SCM team members to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
