∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sound and solid planning and follow up total production flow and balancing the production process to ensure optimum capacity utilization.
∎ Total Production responsible for knitting project.
∎ Receive knitting program from Merchandiser and then provide knitting fabric delivery date according to T&A.
∎ Distribute program to floor In-Charge and Supervisor according to machine plan.
∎ Follow up yarn in house which required according to program from yarn store to knitting floor.
∎ Provide target and efficiency of knitting floor and strictly follow-up machine efficiency and take explanation from supervisor and In- Charge for production.
∎ Monitoring floor regularly, ensure housekeeping and also ensure machine running which have enough program.
∎ Maintain process loss for every knitted program of knitting floor and arrange process loss of yarn.
∎ Strictly follow up order closing of knitting program of knitting floor and ensure yarn return .
∎ Follow-up quality problem of knitting floor and solve it discuss with quality department and technical team. Improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through Integrated Planning Information and analysis.
∎ Update information on key operational and cost parameters at every stage of the overall process.
∎ Provide necessary leadership and guidance to key employees and top performers through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance efficiency.
∎ Ensure production achievement Shift wise/ Machine wise/ Process wise Production.
∎ Ensure Manpower utilization at optimum level in every shift.
∎ Ensure minimum wastage and keeping data of wastage Shift wise/ Process wise. Prepares sample plan based on priority and availability
∎ Leads technical analysis to finalize knitting parameter (yarn count, stitch length, machine dia, gauge etc.) in order to achieve expected quality of fabric keeping production cost in mind
∎ Communicates with marketing/merchandising/development/designers team in order to extract requirements of new development/sample and leads team members to produce the same
∎ Finalizes process sequence (SOP) of knitting department for both sample & bulk for various types of fabric (from yarn to grey fabric)
∎ Actively participates with dyeing & finishing section in order to synchronize entire fabric production process for both sample & bulk (from yarn to finish fabric)
∎ Communicates with buyers (internal & external) regarding fabric related technical explanation
∎ To perform any other task as assigned by the management from time to time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fabric development, Knitting Production, Textile.
∎ Should have strong communication skill (both written and spoken) in English.
∎ Good Interpersonal skills.
∎ Fast acting for Problem Solving.
