Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate / Post graduate.
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology will get preference.
∎ Skills Required: Handicrafts and rags Merchandising, Jute diversified products, Jute goods
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Product Development, Production/ Operation Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Acknowledgement of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the management and giving necessary directives to the production Manager of the unit regarding the production planning.
∎ To keep close eyes in order to attain an acceptable to production limit and to ensure the implementation of the production schedule. If any Production Manager fails to achieve the production target, then the liaison to be found out from the production Manager and he is to be guided for more production.
∎ Having a clear idea about the quality of Jute and to guide his subordinate to take necessary corrective measures if there is any problem of quality so that Jute can be made in the exportable stage.
∎ To implement a price - controlled policy in every stage of production, so that production cost is reduced
∎ To give necessary directives to the production/ Sample team to make a sample of a particular buyer in order to get the approval of mass production.
∎ T ok make necessary arrangements of training for the subordinates in order to increase production capability by following modern production procedures.
∎ To advise the production Manager to follow the production schedule.
∎ To take responsibility during an audit by the buyer regarding compliance issue.
∎ To take all necessary safety measures with the admin, HR and Compliance in order to uphold human rights and development of Human Resources.
∎ To ensure the duties and responsibilities of subordinates as vested on them according to the organizational policy
∎ To ensure proper planning for smooth operation within the team
∎ Arrangements of briefing, training, coordinating, Controlling, and taking timely decision.
∎ To take an active role while formulating the policy of the factory.
∎ Any other responsibilities assignment by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 38 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should be well experienced in Jute Industries
∎ Should have a good knowledge in jute fabric, yarn, accessories, print & embroidery, sourcing, costing/pricing and T& A (Time & Action Plan) etc.
∎ Should have good skill on sample development.
∎ Candidate should be capable of handling orders from different buyers' independently.
∎ Good track record or order follow-up from order confirmation till shipment.
∎ Have to interpersonal communication skill in English.
∎ Should have sound skill on MS office.
∎ Should be a Team Player.
∎ Should be capable to work under pressure.
∎ To collect P.O./Order Sheet from concerned Buyers Overseas Office and provide daily feedback on demand and time.
∎ To co-ordinate with buyers Q.C.
∎ Prepare Order Confirmation Sheet (OCS), BOM sheet and Time Action Plan (T&A) to meet the customer deadline by fulfilling their requirement.
∎ Input required data in company application system and update it regularly.
