Indet Group is a reputed 100% export-oriented garments accessories manufacturing group in Bangladesh. Adzi Trims Ltd., one of the leading units of Indet Group, is located at Indet Industrial Park, Dautia, Kalampur, Dhamrai, Dhaka.
Indet Group is currently looking for a AGM (HR, Admin & Compliance) who will be responsible for overseeing and managing Human Resources, Administration, and Compliance functions for the entire group. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and extensive experience in HR, administrative management, and factory compliance within the garments or accessories manufacturing sector.
Job Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Organizational Development:
Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with the company’s vision, values, and business objectives.
Ensure effective organizational development, manpower planning, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
Oversee recruitment, selection, placement, and onboarding of all categories of employees and workers.
Prepare job descriptions, manage job advertising, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, perform reference checks, and finalize recruitment documentation.
Manage performance management systems, appraisal processes, promotions, and yearly increment programs.
Identify training needs, develop training & development programs, and monitor continuous learning initiatives.
Payroll, Compensation & Benefits:
Oversee payroll management, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement.
Manage maternity leave benefits, earned leave, overtime, full & final settlement, and statutory payments.
Ensure proper maintenance of all employee personal files and HR records.
Compliance, Labor Law & Industrial Relations:
Formulate, implement, and monitor HR & Compliance policies in accordance with Bangladesh Labor Law, Factories Act, Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting Law, and buyer Codes of Conduct.
Handle disciplinary actions, grievance management, and employee relations in compliance with legal requirements.
Maintain strong Industrial Relations (IR) to ensure a harmonious working environment.
Liaise with government and regulatory bodies including Labor Office, Labor Court, Fire Service & Civil Defense, Police Station, and relevant local authorities.
Health, Safety & Security:
Implement and monitor workplace health, safety, and fire prevention measures.
Ensure regular safety training, fire drills, and employee awareness programs.
Maintain factory readiness in line with national safety regulations and buyer standards.
Audit, Certification & Buyer Compliance:
Lead and manage compliance audits including ISO, RSC, Accord/Alliance, BSCI, ICS, SEDEX (SMETA), Inditex, WRAP, Better Work, SLCP, Buyer Code of Conduct, and WCA.
Facilitate certification assessments such as FSC, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS, OEKO-TEX, Recycled Plastic _ UNE EN 15343_2008 …
Manage TC for GRS, GOTS, FSC or other recycle item.
Manage environmental assessments including Higg FEM Self-Assessment, Energy Audit, EMS Audit.
Oversee technical audits (GMP, FCCA, PV, WSE) and security audits (C-TPAT, SCAN, GSV, SCS).
Prepare and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and ensure timely closure.
Build internal capacity and train factory teams to ensure audit preparedness.
Manage LEED Factory Building Audit.
Sustainability & Environmental Management:
Facilitate implementation of environmental and chemical management systems.
Ensure environmental sustainability through environmental and energy-saving initiatives.
Design, implement, and monitor sustainability programs such as WE Goal, PACE, SST, GBV, WCP, WE, WEP.
Prepare sustainability data management tools, reports, and presentations for management and buyers.
Administration & Management Support:
Oversee administrative functions including office facilities, supplies, equipment, and general administration.
Work closely with senior leadership to align HR, Admin, and Compliance initiatives with overall business strategies.
Prepare and present HR, compliance, and sustainability status reports to top management.
Draw action plans and ensure effective implementation as per management direction.
Others:
Maintain personnel-related data, statistical reports, and documentation on hiring, transfers, training, and performance.
Perform any other duties as assigned by top management from time to time.
