Experience:
Hon’s/Masters in any discipline from any reputed university
MBA in HRM & PGD in HRM or Diploma in Social Compliance will get preference.
Strong knowledge on labor laws and buyer compliance standards.
Audit handling and documentation skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure during audits.
Must be good knowledge on Basic computer skill (Microsoft Office program).
Must be excellent communication skill both in English & Bengali.
GMS Textiles Ltd. is a complete green project & one of the most modern knit composite factories in Bangladesh, is going to recruit “Officer/Senior Officer - HR, Compliance & Welfare” for its Factory Unit.
The selected candidate must be willing to stay near the workplace, located at Tansutrapur, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute recruitment and selection processes for vacant workers & staff positions as and when required within the stipulated timeline.
Ensure proper joining, orientation, confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation procedures.
Monitor and control attendance, leave, overtime and shift management issues.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, show-cause notices, and counseling.
Maintain good industrial relations and communication between management and workers.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, rules, and regulations.
Implement and monitor buyer compliance requirements (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, RSC, ISO, etc.)
Prepare, update and maintain compliance documents, registers and records.
Coordinate internal, external, and buyer audits.
Coordinate worker welfare activities (canteen, childcare, medical etc.)
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor & ensure PPE, cleanliness, ventilation, lighting, drinking water, and sanitation etc.
Conduct employee awareness/training programs to ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and other regulatory requirements.
Maintain and update welfare-related records and reports as per legal requirements.
Carrying out floor visits (daily or multiple times a day) to check housekeeping and various compliance issues.
Coordinate with different types of committee.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management time to time.
