• Must have working experience in Outerwear (especially Jacket).

• Ability to work under pressure & should be team player.

• Adequate knowledge of MS Office package.

• The applicant should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality.

• Must be proficient and fluent in English.

GMS Textiles Ltd. is a complete GREEN Project & one of the most modern Composite Knit wear factories in Bangladesh is going to recruit “Officer/Sr. Officer - Industrial Engineering (Outerwear)” for factory unit located at Tansutrapur, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing operation Breakdown/Layout & calculate SMV.

• Simplification of processes with the help of method study, motion study, production study.

• Line Balancing through reducing Tact time with the aid of time study & effective monitoring

• Operator’s skill test & skill matrix.

• Nonproductive time (NPT) reduction.

• Monitor & suggest reduction ideas of SMV.

• Emphasize on pre-production activities (checking Breakdown, Layout & Manpower) as per monthly plan review to reduce change over time. 

• Assist IE manager to execute and evaluate worker’s performance, motivate worker’s, Incentive planning, disciplinary matters and training needs. 

• Weekly Monthly Yearly Documentation of all the activities in a clear & Appropriate way.
