Experience:
A. Radiology and Technical Operations
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as requested by medical officers, ensuring correct patient positioning and optimal image quality.
Operate and maintain X-ray machines and related equipment in line with standard operational procedures.
Adhere strictly to radiation protection and infection prevention and control (IPC) measures for patients, colleagues, and self.
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration checks; report technical issues promptly to the PHC Manager or Logistics team.
Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and radiation shields.
B. Documentation and Record Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all X-ray procedures, patient information, and film usage.
Archive X-ray films or digital images systematically for easy retrieval and clinical reference.
Support the preparation of regular activity reports and data entry into Tdh EMR and Health Sector reporting systems.
Monitor stock levels of X-ray films, chemicals, and consumables; prepare timely requisitions to avoid stockouts.
C. Coordination and Collaboration
Work in close coordination with medical Doctor, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure integrated patient management.
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality assurance activities within the PHC
Support referral processes for patients requiring advanced diagnostic imaging or specialist review.
Contribute to maintaining a supportive and respectful working environment in line with Tdh’s values.
D. Compliance, Safeguarding, and Humanitarian Standards
Ensure all X-ray services are delivered ethically and respectfully, always maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
Uphold Tdh’s Child Safeguarding and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) policies.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and humanitarian principles while working with crisis-affected populations.
Support emergency response activities during disease outbreaks or mass casualty incidents as required.
