Job Context:
∎ This is one of the largest leading woven outerwear (Tops & bottom) Jacket manufacturing companies in Bangladesh.
∎ We are looking for Welfare Officer. Must have working experience in Garments Industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure all activities as per Labor Law.
∎ Maintaining good working relationship with all workers and floor authority.
∎ To give orientation of the newly recruited employee.
∎ Ensuring that Employment of No Child/Child Looking Workers are in practice
∎ Motivate the worker who are Absent, Late Attendance (follow up who are habitual), Personal problem.
∎ Training program conduct.
∎ Welfare are involved inquiry and investigation in case of misconduct, grievance and offence.
∎ Internal audit, to raise awareness into the workers about PPE use, medical facilities.
∎ Welfare internally perform the any kind of audit as per the buyer's instruction in relation to compliance.
∎ Ensuring the factories always prepared/ready for following audits like, Social compliance Audit, technical/Quality Assurance Audit & other Audits.
∎ Ensuring Compliance on Health & Safety as per in house check list
∎ Monitor and ensure sufficient arrangement of such as - Day-Care Center, Hospital, Canteen, First aid box, hygienic toilet, Drinking water, Toilets etc.
∎ Motivating Employees to be more productivity and make them serious about productivity
∎ Help the sick employee for medical support on the request complains or situation demand.
∎ Any kind of survey.
∎ Conducting worker's exit interview & share with management.
∎ In case of accidental of working hour, Welfare investigation it and prepare a report.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 32 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Garments/Tex
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Good knowledge & skills in Computer Operating
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
