Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in CSE or ICT - must be from a reputed University.
∎ Masters in CSE or ICT or GIS preferred (additional marks).

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Reporting To: Director, ICT-GIS Division
∎ Division: ICT-GIS Division

Job Responsibilities:
∎ GIS based web application development
∎ Geo-Database management
∎ Work for active and proposed projects as and when required
∎ Developments and maintain the relation with different relevant Clients
∎ Preparation of Report, proposal, and presentation

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Backend: PHP Laravel/Django Python (at least one), ASP.NET
∎ Front end: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Vue JS, Angular JS, jQuery, React JS
∎ Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL/MySQL - (with Oracle Spatial or PostgreSQL with PostGIS will be preferred)
∎ Server Application: IIS, Apache, Nginx; (experiences of hosting in production server will be preferred)
∎ Should have real life web application development using Laravel/Django and Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL database.
∎ Should have working experiences of handling Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL database on both windows and Linux platform.
∎ Preference will be given for candidates having:
∎ Experiences in GoB or Large Corporate organization as GIS Manager/Programmer/Developer.
∎ Working experiences on use and analysis of GIS data using ESRI products and Opensource GIS
∎ Working experiences of GIS Programming using ESRI platform and Open Sources (Open layer, Leaflet, etc.)
∎ Application development skills both on Linux and Windows platform and using Docker (highly preferred).
∎ Report writing, presentation skills
∎ Relevant research publication in conference/journal is preferable
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
∎ Must have a 'can-do' attitude.
∎ The incumbent must have a mindset to work in a team.
∎ Must be able to carry out multi-tasking activities and have a mindset to work under pressure.
