Education:
A postgraduate degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or related field.

Essential Skill requirements:
A strong understanding of climate science, climate change impacts, and vulnerability assessments.
Proficiency in financial modelling techniques, including risk assessment and pricing.
A solid understanding of insurance principles, product design, and risk underwriting.
Expertise in data analysis and statistical modelling.
The ability to communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences.

IWM service includes but not limited to policy support, capacity building research and innovation, development advisory and consultancy services. Job Responsibilities
Analyze climate-related risks. Collect, analyze, and interpret climate data for risk assessments.
Assess the financial implications of these risks for individuals, businesses, and governments.
Design innovative financial products, such as insurance policies, risk transfer mechanisms, and climate bonds, to mitigate climate-related risks.
Investigate optimal risk financing strategies.
Monitor and analyze climate-related policies and regulations, identifying opportunities and challenges for risk financing and insurance.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to diverse audiences.
Collaborate with climate scientists, economists, and insurance professionals to develop comprehensive solutions.
