Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of food items.
- Supervise storekeepers, packers, loaders, and helpers.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO methods to minimize spoilage and maintain product freshness.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and pest-control standards in the warehouse.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Operations teams for stock replenishment and dispatch planning.
- Verify stock balances and prepare daily/weekly inventory reports.
- Support in implementing warehouse management systems.
- Manage day-to-day hub warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch.
- Coordinate last-mile distribution to assigned upazila schools.
- Supervise loading/unloading and ensure correct vehicle dispatch.
- Monitor delivery schedules and resolve operational delays.
- Prepare daily hub stock and dispatch reports.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and handling protocols.
