We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Veterinary Assistant to support our medical and surgical teams in ensuring the best possible outcomes for pets and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in outpatient consultations by restraining animals, collecting samples, and supporting diagnostics.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care including cleaning, monitoring, and dressing wounds.
Administer oral medications, injections, and IV fluids under veterinary supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in treatment, surgery, and kennel areas.
Handle surgical instruments, prepare operating rooms, and monitor anesthesia during procedures.
Assist in emergencies and help with animal recovery and critical care.
Support routine health checks, vaccinations, and grooming tasks.
Maintain accurate medical and inventory records.
Calmly handle aggressive, injured, or anxious pets with compassion.
