Responsibilities & Context:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates admitted in NICU.
Monitor and record vital signs (Temperature, Pulse, Respiration, SpO2) and maintain proper nursing documentation.
Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as Incubator, Warmer, Phototherapy Unit, CPAP and Ventilator.
Administer medications, IV fluids and feeding as per consultant/physician’s instructions.
Assist doctors and consultants during neonatal procedures and emergency interventions.
Ensure strict infection prevention and control practices and maintain aseptic techniques.
Perform suctioning, oxygen therapy, cannula care, tube feeding and other NICU procedures as required.
Maintain shift duty schedule (Day/Night) and provide emergency nursing support when necessary.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting and handover during shift changes.
Maintain cleanliness, discipline and patient safety inside the NICU.
