Responsibilities & Context:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our imaging department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations that allow physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions accurately. You will ensure patient safety through strict adherence to radiation standards while maintaining the highest quality of imaging.

Educational Qualifications

● Diploma or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Radiology & Imaging.

● Relevant state or national certification/licensure for radiologic technology.

Experience Required

● 2–4 years of experience specifically in diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities

● Imaging Operations: Operate specialized imaging equipment, including X-ray, CT, and MRI scanners, to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

● Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring they are comfortable and informed.

● Safety Standards: Strictly implement and maintain radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.

● Quality Control: Ensure images meet the necessary technical quality standards before they are sent to the radiologist for interpretation.

● Equipment Care: Monitor equipment performance and report any technical issues to ensure the imaging suite remains fully operational.

Required Skills & Competencies

● Technical expertise in handling complex radiological machinery.

● Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics.

● Excellent interpersonal skills to calm and assist patients who may be anxious or in pain.

● Keen attention to detail and precision in positioning and equipment settings.
