Bangladesh Medical Science & Technology Ltd. is developing a 350-bed multi-specialty hospital in Mirpur, Dhaka and is seeking an experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer to lead medical equipment planning, procurement, integration, commissioning, and lifecycle management.
Prepare department-wise medical equipment plans for ICU, OT, Emergency, Imaging, Laboratory, Dialysis, CSSD, Oncology, Endoscopy, OPD/IPD, and Diagnostics.
Define equipment specifications, clinical requirements, quantities, preferred brands, configurations, and technical standards.
Support procurement through BOQ preparation, technical evaluation, tender review, vendor comparison, price benchmarking, and negotiation support.
Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, clinical teams, and project teams to ensure infrastructure readiness for equipment installation.
Review architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas, and room layout drawings to identify technical gaps.
Supervise installation, testing, calibration, commissioning, documentation, handover, and user training.
Develop preventive maintenance plans, asset management systems, service contract strategies, warranty tracking, and spare parts planning.
Advise management on technology selection, phased procurement, equipment prioritization, vendor selection, and long-term sustainability.
Ensure equipment planning aligns with infection control, patient safety, clinical workflow, regulatory requirements, and international hospital standards.
Stay updated on the latest developments in medical equipment, healthcare technology, digital health, and diagnostic/therapeutic innovations.
