Experience:

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

• MBBS from a recognized Medical College with BMDC registration.

• Candidates with DO/DCO shall be given preference.

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• Age At most 30 years

• Candidates possessing a DO (Diploma in Ophthalmology) or DCO (Diploma in Community Ophthalmology, minimum experience may be relaxed.

• For the post of Sr. Medical Officer (SMO), minimum 5 years of working experience in a recognized hospital in Ophthalmology.

(1-Position for ABC Eye Hospital, Salna, Gazipur and 1-Position for ABC Eye Clinic, Sherpur, Bogura).

Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) is a national NGO working since 1978 with the motto; ‘A future for every blind child, give sight back to those who can recover it and dignity to those who cannot’. ABC is a non-profit making organization and is registered as a NGO with the Department of Social Services and NGO Affairs Bureau of the Government of Bangladesh. ABC has been working for Awareness building, Blindness Prevention, Treatment, Education, Training & Socio-economic rehabilitation of visually impaired children and youth since its inception for the development of blind children & youth in Bangladesh. ABC has been running two eye hospitals for a long time at Gazipur and Sherpur, Bogura.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Provide primary eye care services, outdoor patient consultations, and manage emergency cases.

• Assist Consultants in surgical procedures and perform minor clinical procedures.

• Supervise the nursing and technical staffs to ensure quality patient care and hospital discipline.

• Perform other related duties assigned by ABC Management.

Job Nature: Full-time (6 days a week)
