DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assure high quality nursing care and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Effectively interface with physicians, patients and other service user area heads.

Devise, communicate & implement Nursing SOP’s.

Ensure skill up gradation in clinical/ nursing practices.

Manage grievances and disciplinary issues within the nursing department in accordance with approved procedures.

Co-ordinate the nursing performance appraisal system in conjunction with Human Resource Manager.

Assist in manpower planning and recruitment.

Assess workload, manpower requirement and plan optimum deployment.

Ensure talent identification, career progression and staff retention.

Operate within budgeted cost with quality services.

To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital.

To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management

Comply with the service quality Process, environmental & occupational issues & policies of the respective area

Ensure compliance with Infection Control Policies and procedures throughout the organization and audited.

Make every effort to make current nursing books and journals available to staff nurses and encourage research-based practice.

Seek new ways of improving the service and keep abreast of modern practice and techniques
