Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Upazila Coordinator will be responsible for implementing project interventions at the community and Upazila levels. S/he is responsible for monitoring program quality and documentation for the assigned Upazila. S/he will advocate for strengthening the community based child protection through networking and collaboration with relevant civil society organizations, duty bearers and other institutions at the Upazila and District levels.
∎ Major Deliverables:
∎ Delivers project interventions for achieving annual objectives and targets for the assigned Upazila.
∎ Monitors program implementation in Unions for achieving results.
∎ Supervises and provides supports to the Union Coordinators Social Empowerment of the assigned Upazila for developing their plans and rolling them out.
∎ Develops/nurtures protection network at Upazila level for resource mobilization.
∎ Ensures compliance with the Gender and Safeguarding policies in implementing the project; works as the Child Protection Focal point for keeping children safe during project implementation.
∎ Provides periodical report to the supervisors and identifies and violation or fraudulent activities in the field.
∎ Reports to the project's Team Manager and based in assigned Upazila.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ 05 years prior experience with NGO
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Skill to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license
Salary: Tk. 49997 (Monthly)
