∎ 05 Years (at least 3 years relevant experience on DRR activities)

∎ Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
∎ Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Upazila level coordination, liaison with DRR stakeholder including Disaster Management Committees, Upazila administration, Union Parisad, CPP, NGOs, and CBOs and develop functional relationship with them.
∎ Conduct meeting, workshop, training and other events with DMCs, Local govt. administration, Union Parisad, CPP and other stakeholders for achieving support from them.
∎ Organize inception activities with Upazila Disaster Management Committee.
∎ Support to coordinate and organize activities with Upazila & Union Disaster Management Committee.
∎ Facilitate to organize community level awareness session on early warning and preparedness at Greater Ward level.
∎ Facilitate to prepare household level disaster preparedness plan.
∎ Coordination and support provide to the community level disaster volunteer.
∎ Support to conduct simulation exercise in targeted area.
∎ Meeting with cyclone shelter management committee and planning for readiness.
∎ Coordination with Cyclone Preparedness Programme and sub-district Disaster Management Committee at union level.
∎ Support on hazard & Risk assessment of existing institutional capacities to ensure centralized multi-hazard disaster preparedness.
∎ Capacity building, provide accompaniment support to field staff.
∎ Day to day monitoring and provide necessary feedback for further development.
∎ Maintain regular information sharing with senior management like Focal, DRR Manager and backstopping team.
∎ Program monitoring, documentation, database management and report writing.
