Educational Requirements:
∎ Completed LLB/ LLM with good academic background, preferably from Public University
∎ Must have knowledge on Artha Rin Adalat Aine-2003, Negotiable Instrument Act, Civil and Criminal law, Labour Laws, Bank Companies Act, Transfer of Property Act etc.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 9 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise, evaluate and monitor the overall legal unit
∎ Represent the company before the courts; review the plaints; check the calculations, written statements, legal notices, writ petition and various other documents relating to litigation
∎ Arrange to vacate writ and other cases against the company
∎ Maintain liaisons and communications with law firms as well as concern law and enforcement authority ensuring all legal matter
∎ Assist to execute the arrest warrant and recovery issues
∎ Provide timely and relevant case data
∎ Arrange and reply to legal notices
∎ Monitor the panel Lawyers for the progress of cases
∎ Input case information in Bangladesh Bank Data Base Management web portal
∎ Collect Pay Order documents from the court
∎ Perform general legal services for the company; including direction on corporate and commercial issues, contract negotiation and documentation, litigation matter and others related issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-9 years of experience in Legal department, with at least 3-4 years’ experience in managerial position
∎ Candidates with experience from Banks & NBFIs will get preference
Salary: Negotiable
