• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in UX/UI design and development.
• Strong knowledge of React for front-end development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design and development work.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Strong knowledge and Experience required on the tools and technologies mentioned below: 
• Strong experience in software design and development
• Mastery of Adobe XD, Figma and/or Adobe Illustrator
• Experience in doing user research, usability testing, rapid prototyping, etc.
• Have an eye for usability, minimalism, and simplicity while designing
• Understanding of details in design principles, layout, alignment, etc.
• Passionate to grow in a result-oriented startup environment.

• The Software Engineer with American Trust will collaborate with a talented development team that spans the world to develop scalable solutions that bring business needs to life. This position is a part of our External, client-facing, development team focusing on API and Salesforce interfaces supporting advisors in the 401(k) industry.

• The ideal candidate for this position is a go-getter who is eager to learn new processes and takes the initiative to independently research and solve problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed user interfaces for web and mobile applications using Figma and React.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into engaging and user-friendly designs.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to ensure optimal user experience.

• Optimize designs for various devices and screen sizes.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.

• Design and deliver elegant and delightful digital product experiences

• Brainstorm user requirements together with a cross-functional agile team

• Explore solutions & refine concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps

• Develop UX/UI elements illustrating how features function and look like

• Conduct UX/UI adjustments based on user feedback from live applications

• Take ownership and define the product roadmap with the product owner
