Job Context:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of our financial backend systems and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing .NET Core applications, validating complex SQL Server data, and ensuring that report migrations (Legacy to Windward/Apryse) are pixel-perfect. This role requires a blend of manual precision and automated testing within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Report & Document Validation: Perform rigorous "side-by-side" testing of migrated reports (Crystal/SSRS to Windward) to ensure 100% data and formatting accuracy.

• API Testing: Validate RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger to ensure backend services meet functional requirements.

• Database Testing: Write complex SQL queries to verify data integrity, stored procedure logic, and backend calculations.

• Regression Testing: Execute manual and automated regression suites to ensure new .NET Core deployments do not impact existing financial logic.

• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

• Environment Support: Collaborate with the DevOps team to validate deployments within Docker/Kubernetes and Linux environments.

• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with Software Engineers and Business stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria.
