∎ 07 Years working experiences (at least 3 years relevant experience in DRR capacity building and training activities)
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
∎ Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity
∎ Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary
∎ Able to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Cooperate to conduct different capacity strengthening events and technical support to disaster management committees.
∎ Conduct DMCs different training sessions. Organize Upazila Disaster Management Committee capacity building training for cyclone preparedness.
∎ Organize trainings for Cyclone Preparedness Programme volunteers and build their capacity.
∎ Follow and ensure quality to organize community level awareness session on early warning and preparedness at greater ward level.
∎ Facilitate to prepare household level disaster preparedness plan.
∎ Support to organize simulation exercise, World Environment Day/ IDDR Observance in targeted upazila and union level.
∎ Support to hazard & risk assessment of existing institutional capacities to ensure centralized multi-hazard disaster preparedness.
∎ Develop/support/review the training module, schedule develop, training budget preparation develop and training reporting.
∎ Training related data collection, compilation, analyzes, documentation and reporting.
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with concerned departments, agencies, DRR actors, and stakeholders
