Educational Requirements:
∎ Relevant qualification in Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent post-graduate qualifications), membership of any professional organizations highly beneficial.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support and advice to develop quality services in the areas of training for women, girls and women hostel and child care programs
∎ Assess children's learning needs to support management team to improve a better educational and child development system so that children from marginal levels develop skills to be prepared for and succeed in school and life
∎ Support Friends of Basha Society team to design training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance
∎ Assess training needs through interviews, evaluations with employees and managers to build their capacity to lead
∎ Provide support to Friends of Basha Society team for material development for training programs and education programs
∎ Develop a system or monitoring tools to ensure all the services are running successfully to meet organization's objectives
∎ Help Friends of Basha Society team for policy development or amendment on circumstances of needs
∎ Plan and organize special retreat, picnic, study tour or fun activity for children and women
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in a Training and Development Specialist role with women or children.
∎ Strong English speaking and writing skills.
∎ Demonstrated experience working as an Occupational Therapist with women or children.
∎ Demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning and ability to apply professional judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks within the scope of practice of the position.
∎ Demonstrated ability to utilize problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care.
∎ Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
∎ Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and organize own work/caseload.
∎ Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of person-centred care, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
∎ Demonstrated ability to supervise professional, technical and support staff
∎ Demonstrated design and implementation of training needs analysis and evaluation frameworks
∎ Demonstrated designed, developed and delivered learning resources that address identified training needs
∎ Advanced computer skills across Microsoft Office and Gsuite.
∎ Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, problem solve, promote and uphold initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality.
∎ Well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control own workload.
∎ Able to work independently, prioritizing duties, and maintaining organized systems.
