Educational Requirements:
∎ Qualified Medical Assistant or Senior Nurse-midwife. For Nurse need Basic B.Sc in nursing, Post B.Sc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, MPH will be Preferred.

∎ There is a vacancy for the following regular position based at LAMB Training Center, Parbatipur, Dinajpur:
∎ Job Summary: Responsible to work as a supervisor and as a member of the educational team of Training and to assist the teaching staff of the Training Center and Nursing Institute in developing and teaching Health Care Provider, nursing and midwifery students and other trainees according to the set standards and curricula. To provide clinical supervision for TC Students or Trainees/nursing/midwives during practical placements on the wards and in the community. Works as a Medical Assistant and Health Care Provider in Labour & Delivery, Maternity ward, SW, PW, GW, antenatal clinics, under 18 clinics to maintain skills and do on the job assessment and training of the TC all students.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Liaise with the team (clinical and quality Assurance) at LAMB training Center staff, Hospital and CHDP staff.
∎ 2. Have a regular sitting with the course coordinator and co-trainers & TC Admin with Residence incharge: to discuss about the training, trainees, if there are any problem they are facing b. Teaching methods/lesson plan, c. Prepare Class schedule/duty roster, d. Teaching materials e. Classroom setting f. Food quality g. Residence rules
∎ 3. Designs and develops curriculum: assists the course coordinator to work with the expert groups to develop the curriculum in the following areas. Eg:
∎ a. Objectives
∎ B. Content
∎ C. Method and Materials-Participatory based on the principals of adult learning
∎ D. Training evaluation- Prepare pre-& Post test, Observation check list (Knowledge - Skills-attitude), other evaluation method as develop
∎ e. Prepare Less Plan with the course coordinator. This will include : Training Objectives, methodology, materials including handouts, evaluating the objectives, Time for each session and space for clinical/practical
∎ f. Learning need and resource assessment, pre and post test questions, OSCE (Objectives Based structured Clinical Examination) questions in consultation with the team member and senior person of the LAMB as per need.
∎ 4. Develop Training Schedule for classroom teaching for the trainers in consultation with the team, TC Admin Officer and TC Director.
∎ 5. Develop clinical rotational plan for the trainers and student for clinical practice in consultation with the team, Midwifery Instructors, NI responsible person and share to TC Director.
∎ 6. Provide Supportive Supervision to the all TC staffs and Trainees
∎ 7. Supervise the Trainers/Instructors and ensure their compliance with the set standards.
∎ 8. Coordinate with the other TC, DMP 2, NI staff as per need
∎ 9. Accountable to Donor & Partners regarding to providing information of Training content, evidence based training quality, reporting and face the visitors
∎ 10. Teaches various training as per Training List eg: inside and outside training. Training of Trainers Course, Government or other LAMB approved Medical Assistant training.
∎ 11. Assist TC admin team as per need eg: ensure food booking, classroom booking, training materials requisition and supply timely
∎ 12. Report writing after completion of each training: after completion of any training he/she will prepare a training report on English and will send to final checking, responsible for maintain report sending register and after getting organizational feedback will receive and finalize the report through TC Admin Officer and TC Director.
∎ 13. Ensure The Quality of Training Programme by receiving feedback from the trainers team, trainees/student, course evaluation, pre-post test exam, clinical target file, OSCE exam performance result.
∎ 14. Participants in assessing and training for external consultancies as needed. Must be willing to stay at external training site for up to two months as needed.
∎ 15. Prepares the skills labs with the trainers team for specific session demonstrations. Teaches students through demonstration o the session plan. During final exam arrange OSCE (as per need).
∎ 16. Participates in meeting: TC team meeting & TC inservice, TC Admin & PMT meeting, other committee meeting, meeting when scheduled for the purpose of keeping coordination and communication within the departments.
∎ 17. Prepare TC inservice schedule and Leads in-services for TC Staff & Participates in TC inservice monthly for the purpose of maintaining and developing training skills.
∎ 18. Works as a Medical Assistant/Senior Nurse Midwife as scheduled : an average of 1 week per month, Works shifts as a Medical Assistant/senior Nurse Midwife on all the wards including Labour & delivery ward as per schedule/when schedule
∎ 19. Fulfils teaching requirements per yearly teaching plan both in the classroom and during practical placements on the wards and in the community
∎ 20. Participates in any form of student assessment
∎ 21. Orients staff & students to the clinical sites with fellow instructors; observes students' interactions with clients and identifies gaps in quality service delivery; evaluates students' competencies during service delivery.
∎ 22. Checks checklists/logbooks filled in by students and checked by the Trainers/Instructors, reviews the clinical learning at the end of each shift and assists students in reflective practice in line with learning objectives
∎ 23. Actively Participate of all type of TC Activities: field visit with the student, Day observation etc.
∎ 24. Support Admin Officer for preparing training monthly & yearly schedule, Training report writing, student registrations etc.
∎ 25. Any other duty as assigned by the Training Center Director and supervisors.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should have 3-5 years clinical experience & teaching experience, leading team, maintain quality of training, report writing, prepare schedule for classroom teaching & hospital duty roster. Able to teach Health related and nursing related subjects in English & Bengali language. Good computer skills required.

Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 24,400 per month gross. Benefits include medical care available at LAMB and Provident fund.
