Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering
∎ Minimum 3 years of Experience as a test automation engineer
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Test Automation, Test Engineer
Job Context:
∎ Hands on experience in writing Automation scripts and Working knowledge of Automation Frameworks
∎ Expertise on automation testing tools such as Selenium / QTP, SilkPerformer, Protractor JS,
∎ Strong working experience with developing REST API-based automation tests in Python scripting language
∎ Strong experience building automated test scripts using Selenium, Squish, QTP, Cucumber, Python etc.
∎ Good knowledge of test automation frameworks like Pytest, TestNG etc.
∎ Candidates with both Functional and Non-Functional testing knowledge is an added advantage.
∎ If non-functional testers, the candidates should be aware of Jmeter/Load Runner based performance testing.
∎ Knowledge on capturing and diagnosing logs for application errors
∎ Must be skilled in Automated Testing, Performance Testing and Security Testing
∎ knowledge utilizing SQL is a must for automation tests and test data preparation
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
∎ Perform problem analysis to determine root-cause of the bugAnalyze field issues and drive test improvements
∎ Ability to identify and implement test improvements to raise the product quality
∎ Understanding of Agile development, test methodologies – BDD, FDD, TDD is a plus
∎ Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
∎ Demonstrates expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional
∎ requirements and their priority within the backlog
∎ Communicate test strategy, test process, test results to management and cross functional teams
∎ Ability to balance application development and application support needs
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, TestLink and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla
∎ Software testing certifications like CAST, ISTQB, CSTE, CASTP, etc.
∎ Preferably Financial Services Domain knowledge
