Additional Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh’s agricultural sector, crop cycles, and common agricultural challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in local languages and dialects is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.


Responsibilities & Context:

Sales and Market Development:

  •  Achieve sales targets for agro-chemical products in the assigned territory.

  • Identify new sales opportunities by visiting farmers, agro-input dealers, and distributors.

  • Develop and execute territory-level sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

  • Ensure availability and visibility of products in key outlets. 

Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and farmers to promote product benefits.

  • Provide product demonstrations and technical support to farmers on the proper use of agro-chemicals.

  • Address customer queries and complaints regarding product performance and application.

Market Intelligence and Reporting: 

  • Gather and analyze market data, including competitor activities and market trends.

  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.

  • Monitor and report on stock levels in the distribution network. 

Training and Promotion: 

  • Conduct training programs and workshops for retailers and farmers to improve their understanding of product benefits and usage.

  • Participate in promotional activities such as field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and agricultural fairs.
