∎ Age 30 to 50 years
∎ Minimum of 5 years working experiences in homestead vegetable gardening training, farm machineries training, agri-food processing training, training module/learning materials development, Food Security and Livelihood Development project in Bangladesh with NGOs.
∎ Demonstrated capacity in project management, with conceptual understanding
∎ Demonstrated capacity in training module development and training facilitation skills
∎ Demonstrate capacity in competency-based skills training and facilitation skills
∎ Strong understanding of all aspects of farm machineries and agri-food processing
∎ Team building capacity
∎ Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities
∎ Maintain PSEA, gender and equality following the organizational policy and practice
∎ Respect, maintain and monitor code of conduct practice
∎ Written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Ability to drive a motorbike with valid motorbike driving license

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide competency-based skill development training, prepare training materials and plan for the project beneficiaries and implement accordingly
∎ Able to supervise a team of facilitators
∎ Understanding to develop training module/learning materials on homestead vegetable gardening, farm machineries repairing and agro-food processing and preservation for the Rohingya Refugee beneficiaries
∎ Facilitate competency-based skill development training on agriculture crop/vegetable production/ farm machineries repairing / agro-food processing training for Rohingya Refugee
∎ Build technical capacity of the project staff on farm machineries repair, agro-food processing and preservation, facilitation skills, value chain and market linkages
∎ Facilitate field staff understanding of organization’s values, vision, mission statements and partnership standards, project directions, goals etc.
∎ Monitor the progress of field activities and take initiative for corrective measures in consultation with the PC- Shushilan and FAO representatives
∎ Prepare and analyzes the budget for the capacity building activities
∎ Prepare assessment reports, training reports and progress reports
∎ Regular meeting with the project staff and provide feedback for improvements;Document the lesson learnt and best practices
∎ Organize and attend various important training, meeting, seminar, workshop at Camps, upazila and district level
∎ Support the field team to organize and take necessary preparation for donor visit and produce report
∎ Assist PC to prepare any guideline, process and tools as per the guidance by FAO representatives and senior management
∎ All kind of positive motivation to support and response in emergency situation
∎ In addition to that any other duties and responsibilities may assigned by the authority / organization which need to be carried out.
∎ Shushilan, a national reputed NGO has been implementing a project entitled “Strengthening the agro-food system through practicing climate adaptive technologies and market access in Cox’s Bazar” with technical and financial support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). FAO, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), supports strengthening skills and entrepreneurship in the agro-food sector, promoting farm production, climate adaptive technologies, and market access for the host communities and the Rohingya people. The project is implementing in collaboration with Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) and local administration to support the marginal and smallholder farmers and youth to adopt climate adaptive technologies to increase their household income and strengthening farmers’ and youth organizations for better market access for host communities and Rohingya Refugee. Shushilan is inviting application from the qualified and interested candidates for the following position.
