Education:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology / DMF /MATS or 2 years course (in relevant field)completed recognized by BTEB with minimum 2 years’ experience (Technician) or Minimum SSC or equivalent with at least 6-1 year training (for Assistant Technician)

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct electrocardiograms (ECGs) on patients to assess heart rhythm and function.
∎ Adhere to established clinical protocols to ensure safety and accuracy of all test results.
∎ Facilitate stress testing procedures under the supervision of a Cardiologist.Patient Preparation and Support
∎ Explain the ECG procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
∎ Properly position patients for optimal test results and monitor their condition throughout the procedure.
∎ Be vigilant for any signs of distress and respond to emergencies following hospital guidelines.Data Recording and Preliminary Analysis
∎ Record electrical activity of the heart and generate accurate ECG tracings for physician review.
∎ Identify and document irregularities in ECG patterns and prepare preliminary reports.
∎ Collect and update relevant patient history prior to testing to ensure complete and accurate records.Equipment Management and Maintenance
∎ Maintain and sanitize ECG equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with healthcare regulations.
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, scheduling repairs when necessary.

∎ Job Summary: Bangladesh Specialized Hospital (BSH) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Technician / Assistant Technician (ECG) in the Cardiology Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing electrocardiographic (ECG) tests, including arrhythmia monitoring and stress testing, ensuring accurate and efficient diagnostic services. This role requires effective patient care, accurate documentation, technical maintenance, and collaboration with Cardiologists to support patient health outcomes.
