- Age 25 to 35 years
(2-3) Years of relevant experience is preferable.
Proficiency in database management systems in Microsoft SQL Server (or Oracle)·
In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring).
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Previous experience as a Database Developer/ Database maintenance role will be given added advantages.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes·
Understanding the needs of front-end users and having a problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities & Context:
Data synchronization checking for a distributed system·
Regular Database health check.
Fix database usage problems and malfunctions.
Monitor Replication process.
Create and update database documentation.
Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.
Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat, until the solved a technical issue·
Prepare accurate and timely reports
