Job Responsibilities:
∎ Save the Children in Bangladesh is building a fresh approach to campaigning - our work to engage public to shift political conditions for changes in policy and practice for children.
∎ Our new campaign model centres on child and youth campaigning alongside supporting partnerships and movements; strong public engagement and storytelling to generate political momentum for change.
∎ The Technical Specialist-Child and Youth Campaigning is a critical catalyst role to help us realise this vision and build powerful campaigning for and with the children and youth with particular focus on those impacted by inequality and discrimination.
∎ S/he is responsible for driving, leading, and delivering SCiBD campaign strategy, developing effective campaigning networks and partnerships that advance our campaign goals and building strong public support for our issues.
∎ The role will lead our approach to supporting children to develop and deliver campaigns. S/he will play a full and active role in SCI's global campaign community in the development and delivery of campaign strategy, bring new and innovative trends and best practices into Save the Children from the wider campaigns and social movement community.
∎ Reporting to the Director of Advocacy, Campaign, Communication and Media, the role holder will work with various thematic programs/projects, functions, and departments within a matrix structure.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven experience (at least 5 years) in leading campaign strategy development, planning, delivery and evaluation, and mobilising resources behind its execution
∎ Strong in movement building campaigns approach, including sparking and nurturing partnerships with external networks / organisations to deliver campaign impact
∎ At least 2 years of experience of leading and supporting child and / or youth activism
∎ Experience of developing and delivering high ambition public campaigning and engagement approaches and strategies
∎ Excellent, collaborative leadership style and ability - proven campaign leadership at mid to senior level roles
∎ Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
∎ Ability to communicate complex information verbally and in writing in a clear, simple way to wider staff, partners, and campaigns audiences
