Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in MEAL, Monitoring & Evaluation, or Data Management in NGO/Development sector.
- Experience in survey design, data analysis, and reporting is required.
- Experience with donor-funded projects (e.g., NGO/INGO) will be an advantage.
- UK AID, DFAT or USAID Project Experience
Additional Requirements:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and data analysis tools.
- Good report writing and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively in field areas.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Responsibilities & Context:

MEAL Officer (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MEAL systems, tools, and frameworks in line with project objectives.
- Design and manage monitoring and evaluation plans, indicators, and data collection systems.
- Conduct regular field monitoring visits to ensure quality implementation of project activities.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data for performance tracking and decision-making.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and donor-required MEAL reports.
- Support baseline, midline, end line surveys, assessments, and evaluations.
- Ensure accountability mechanisms including feedback and complaint response systems.
- Facilitate learning sessions and document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.
- Train field staff on data collection, reporting tools, and MEAL processes.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely reporting.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational MEAL standards.
