Experience:
Masters in any relevant subject from any IGC approved reputed university or institute

The Senior Project Officer – Education (Material Development, Student Mentorship Programme) will design and develop engaging and relevant content for a mentorship programme for secondary school students in Cox’s Bazar. Key responsibilities include creating session guides, mentor handbooks, learning materials, and tools that support student motivation, socio-emotional learning, academic readiness, and personal growth. The role will work closely with teachers, field staff, education officials, and students to ensure the programme effectively supports learners and strengthens the quality of mentoring practice.
Design and develop student mentorship programme content, including mentor handbooks, session modules, activity guides, reflection tools, and student materials.
Ensure content is age-appropriate, gender-responsive, inclusive, and aligned with the needs of secondary-level students.
Contextualise content in line with the national education curriculum and local cultural practices.
Review developed mentorship materials based on feedback from students, mentors, and teachers.
Ensure materials are simple, engaging, and usable by mentors with varying levels of experience.
Train teachers, mentors, and facilitators on how to effectively utilise the developed materials in school settings.
Provide technical guidance to facilitators and support school teams in organising mentorship sessions using the provided content.
Conduct field visits to observe mentorship sessions, gather feedback, and evaluate the quality of session delivery.
Ensure the quality of pre-primary education in the host community, including the development and facilitation of training and refresher modules.
Build staff capacity to ensure the quality of the mentorship programme
Develop a practical quality assurance system to understand what’s working and what needs improvement.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
