Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years experience within the finance department of a national or international organization. Experience in budgeting and budget management and proven track record in producing quality reports
∎ Excellent understanding of financial systems and procedures
∎ Excellent analytical skills -ability to analyze complex financial data and design and produce effective management information
∎ Ability to contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff and working collaboratively with colleagues, and providing support and advice as necessary
∎ Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work under tight deadlines.
∎ Hands-on experience with computerized accounts packages and Excel, PowerPoint
∎ Strong communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills in English, with experience in managing multicultural teams
∎ Excellent communication skills in cross-cultural contexts, awareness, and sensitivity to gender and diversity
