∎ Minimum 3 years’ experience as Technical Officer/Project Officer for Food Security/ Livelihoods/Training including IGA level position and experience of work in Rohingya camps will be preferable.
∎ Strong skills in organizing and facilitation events/session at the community level
∎ Experience in providing hands-on training to individuals/groups of beneficiaries
∎ Communication with officials of different local government agencies including CiCs, UZ Livestock Officer and NGO stakeholders
∎ Understanding of project planning, implementation and monitoring
∎ 60% field movement
∎ Knowledge of Protection Principles in humanitarian work
∎ High level of cultural sensitivity and understanding of community dynamics of vulnerable people (Rohingya and ohst communities
∎ Basic understanding of accounting procedures, bill & vouchers validation, procurement etc.
∎ Knowledge of MS Office Applications, internet, KoBo tools, WhatsApp etc.
∎ Communication skill both in English and Bengali and in Chittagonian/Rohingya dialect

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conducting Needs Assessments: Identify the skills gaps and livelihood needs of the Victims of Trafficking (VoTs)
∎ Arranging and facilitating training, workshops and seminars for project beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Labor Market Analysis: Evaluate local and regional labor markets to determine which skills are in demand and how to align training programs with market needs.
∎ Training and Capacity Building Identify the training needs of the target beneficiaries using needs assessment tools.
∎ Training Facilitation: Provide training in different skills development area e.g. sewing, handicraft, doll making
∎ Resilience Mapping: Analyze the community's vulnerability, particularly of the VoTs, and resilience to external shocks (e.g., natural disasters, economic downturns) to design interventions that build long-term resilience.
∎ Facilitate Business Plan Develop: Facilitate the VoTs on how to write a business plan, set goals, and develop strategies.
∎ Follow up: Regular follow up of the beneficiaries receiving livelihood assistance and provide them with needful technical support
∎ Documentation and Reporting:
∎ Prepare detailed training plans and reports, including participant feedback and outcome assessments.
∎ Document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices for future program planning and external communications.
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of training activities and project progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to the Project Manager and donors.
∎ Stakeholder Engagement:
∎ Collaborate with partner NGOs, government agencies, and other networks to share knowledge and coordinate training efforts.
∎ Address stakeholder concerns and feedback promptly to strengthen collaboration and enhance project effectiveness.
∎ Coordinate with the service providing agencies to refer the VoTs for needful support to the service providers through referral mechanism
∎ Young Power in Social Action (YPSA) is an organization for sustainable development working in the greater Chittagong division including Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) since 1985 (International Youth Year). YPSA has been implementing a project titled “Prevention and Response Activities Implementation Activities on Counter Trafficking Issues” at Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar both Host community and Camps since June 2018. The project is supported by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
