Job Responsibilities:
∎ THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR (FABRIC) SHALL, IN PARTICULARLY PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO:
∎ Day-to-day operation and supervise liaison office activities in accordance with business plan of the management and in accordance with local regulation.
∎ Act to the benefits of the employer; perform his/her rights and obligations in respect of the employer, acting in the reasonable manner and good faith.
∎ Technical Director should obligate in any case and under any circumstance to execute his/her functions to the benefits of the employer.
∎ S/he should comply with ethics, rules, regulations, code etc. of the fabric market and operational place.
∎ S/he should obligate and observe all the internal procedures and schedule of the employer which govern company's standard operational procedures.
∎ Directly and exclusively report to Country Manager
∎ To Achieve sales and realization targets in the Area and contribute to the profitability of business through maximization of realization ensuring customer satisfaction through commercial and technical initiatives.
∎ Take up projects with the textile value chain to increase consumption in the hubs.
∎ Identify and develop new customers to increase sales and promote in newer yarn making technologies.
∎ To effectively market the pricing and incentive policies to customers to obtain their buy-in and motivate them
∎ To ensure customer satisfaction through technical, marketing and commercial support with Faster response to customer queries.
∎ Value added service to improve the technical/product performance of the customers.
∎ Ensure appropriate and timely preparation of MIS
∎ To co-ordinate with plants/commercial team for relevant inputs and resolve customers issues.
∎ To ensure timely & satisfactory closure of all complaints.
∎ Understand fit and design modifications that affect price and follow through with vendors on updates as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 38 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
∎ Linen Fabric marketing, Sourcing, Merchandising, costing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Fabric-Innovation, Product development , Linen Fabric Design, Sampling.
∎ Must have Technical Knowledge about Fabric and Fabric Production .
∎ Must have knowledge about how to solve any kind of fabric issue that can arises at any given period of time.
∎ Highly pro-active, energetic and self-motivated
∎ Must have good command in MS office Application
∎ Any one can apply (Male /Female/ Foreigner).
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in large fabric mills
∎ Minimum 3 years as a Technical Director
∎ Solid textile knowledge in both raw material and apparel production process
∎ Good fashion sense and sensitive to the new technical development of raw material.
∎ Excellent negotiation and coordination skills in both English and Bangla
∎ Manage the multi-duties in a flexible, analytical and well organized Way
∎ Assess supplier qualification and performance with integrity
∎ Familiar with garment production process and Quality control system,
∎ Has knowledge of ISO 9001, SA8000, 4 Point system, AQL 2.5 would be a plus.
∎ Strong sense of responsibility and integrity with independent personality
∎ Team player and willing to travel on frequent basis all around Bangladesh
∎ Strong capacity of collaboration & communication with management and stakeholder
∎ Good Negotiation Skills
∎ Ability to work independently and effectively in multifaceted situation
∎ Flexible office timing considering the work load
∎ Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
∎ IT and Languages Skills:
∎ Strong and sharp Knowledge in computing
∎ Regular user of Pack Office Pro ( Excel, PPT, Word )
∎ Advanced in ms-excel and e-mailing
∎ Excellent English Speaker and Writer (Compulsory!!)

Salary: Negotiable
