∎ There are vacancies for the following contractual position for the Adolescent and Community Transformation (ACT) Project funded by LAMB Health-UK as follows;
∎ Job Summary: Maintains good working relationships and communication between central and field offices. Responsible for overseeing the overall activities of ACT project. She/he is responsible for monitoring of project progress and reporting; capacity building of institutional stakeholders and duty bearers at different levels for establishing and strengthening adolescent sexual reproductive health and mental health services system. Responsible for providing supportive supervision to Technical Officer and networking with GO/NGOs service providers. Ensure that programs and events run smoothly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Administration:
∎ • Prepare monthly, quarterly & annual action plan
∎ • Prepare, manage and implement union wise budget, ensure financial reporting, budget modification, prior approval for any project needs
∎ • Organize monthly coordination meetings, participation of various counterparts meeting with active participation
∎ • Provide personnel management including in-service training & skill development
∎ • Ensure effective administration of UH&FWC, CCs and other Safe Space through TOs
∎ • Approval authority of OA and TO’s personnel and financial claims/bills/vouchers/leaves and others
∎ • Assist LAMB HR in field staff personnel management
∎ • Carryout the targeted objectives & tasks of assigned area
∎ 2. Financial & Logistics management:
∎ • Ensure defined book keeping practices at project office and other LAMB operated centres
∎ • Ensure financial reports, records organizational policies in local purchases
∎ • Fund management & financial management
∎ • Proper utilization, maintenance and management of office assets and clinical assets
∎ • Ensure management, requisition and stock keeping of logistics, commodities, equipment, materials and assets
∎ 3. Program activities:
∎ • Ensure formation adolescent groups, safe space by TOs and AFs
∎ • Ensure regular (monthly/quarterly) meeting of AFs and adolescent group members with active participation by field staff
∎ • Ensure that meetings are organizing for development of health service delivery facilities, well-being for rural Adolescent SRH&MH and addressing the needs of community health
∎ • Ensure that adolescent members of the groups has easy access to raise their issues, access and rights to take decisions by their own and effective execution of the decisions taken by groups/committee
∎ • Need assessment, assist and arrange trainings/orientations for development & empowerment of various groups
∎ • Ensure timely update of adolescent and other HH information by HH register/format used by AF
∎ • Form, reform target community groups, ensure FGD, BCC and other communication, designed by project
∎ • Ensure regular/targeted HH visit by AFs and communication; SRH&MH, social & other information/data records
∎ • Ensure community mobilization focused on social, gender, culture, stigma, discrimination, women empowerment and child protection
∎ • Work closely with local leaders, church leaders and community committees in raising SRH&MH awareness issues in the communities.
∎ • Supervise on regular basis community mobilization activities in order to improve health seeking behaviours in the community.
∎ • Work with community, committees in streamlining community level referral for SRH & MH health in the community.
∎ • Conduct regular meetings with targeted groups in order to address social, cultural and traditional barriers affecting health.
∎ • Supervise TO’s AF’s activities and ensure optimal uses of field resources
∎ • Ensure day/event observation/celebration at union level
∎ • Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual report from union level
∎ 4. Networking & Dissemination:
∎ • Disseminate impact to groups, communities, local government & governments
∎ • Attend and participate Upazila level health and development meetings
∎ • Organize dissemination meetings for GO, I/NGOs & communities
∎ • Develop & ensure best collaboration and coordination with local government, community groups/committees and Union/Upazila health and FP departments
∎ • Develop and maintain effective collaboration with referral service points
∎ • Necessary assistance & networking with MIS-R and other teams of LAMB
∎ • Networking with other LAMB likeminded projects etc.
∎ • Disseminate & practice organizational norms, practices, values, policies and objectives towards Union &Upazila staff
∎ 5. Integration of spiritual, emotional & social health:
∎ • Ensure prayer at beginning of daily work, before meeting, workshop, seminar & trainings
∎ • Ensure availability of religious books and references at project offices
∎ • Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ • Ensure religious values and organizational values of staff
∎ • Comply with LAMB Health-UK & LAMB policies and practices with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3-5 years practical experience in community health, SRH & Mental Health. Must have wide knowledge in government health, FP structure, local government structures, adolescent & women health, gender & other family/social issues that influence adolescent & women. Experience in dealing with different types of communities. Able to drive motorcycle with full valid motorcycle driving license.

Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 45,000 per month gross.
