∎ Age at least 45 years
∎ Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience on SRHR, gender, nutrition, Mother & Neonatal Child Health (MNCH), child protection, mental health and women’s rights.
∎ Practical and extensive knowledge on financial, human resources and administration management.
∎ Sound knowledge on gender-responsive SRHR and Health programming and Health and Development training.
∎ A valid motorcycle driving license is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To give leadership in professional behavior and integrity, and to promote unity and peace among all project staff.
∎ Plan, design, and implement training needs assessments and assist in organizing the training locally or centrally for PE, PI, Fathers group, CG, UH&FWC-MC, SMC, Aunty and Uncle, faith leaders, Parents, Govt. service providers, adolescent and youth.
∎ Provide technical assistance directly to the staff setting up the project for ensuring quality service delivery at service center and implementation.
∎ Undertake field visits to monitor project activities as well as conduct periodic program reviews with donors. Undertake action on operational procedures affecting project implementation and management.
∎ Assist field coordinators, CSBA, midwives, and CHW in setting program goals, planning, implementation, assessment, and dissemination.
∎ Collect needed information for donor and management reporting and send reports to the project manager and CHDP directors.
∎ Developed and use monitoring tools and schedules considering PMF and ensure that program monitoring and evaluation are conducted periodically.
∎ Support to TC-CoLMEAL and TC-MEAL to measure the project progress, quality, and feedback for further improvement.
∎ Ensuring Quality of Care (QOC) at service delivery points and establishing Quality Assurance (QA) System Ensure the successful implementation of the planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems for the program that meet the donors and LAMB’s needs.
∎ Take necessary steps for periodic program monitoring and report to LAMB management.
∎ Provide supportive supervision for outreach/peripheral others projects activities as per need.
∎ Attend meetings and disseminate program activities and feedback.
∎ Ensure that the impact of the program and lessons learned were documented properly.
∎ Assist to enhance knowledge and skill of staff on documentation, record keeping, program presentation, and facilitation through follow-up, coaching, and mentoring.
∎ Ensure good communication between LAMB and Technical agencies at the central and local level.
∎ Ensure in collaboration with all LAMB Project Officers that effective communication occurs between departments and that the components have the necessary resources to fulfill the objectives of the various programs.
∎ Analyze decision-making that is specific to the project and community and provide this information for dissemination.
∎ Ensure effective advocacy and communication with CG, UH&FWC-MC, LGIs, health service provider, Govt. officials and local administration.
∎ Maintain good communication and supportive monitoring to the PIs, Savings group, fathers group and others groups of the project to keep them functional.
∎ Maintain effective networking and advocacy with other NGOs Any other duty may be assigned by the project manager or CHDP director or management.
∎ Serve as the primary budget approver for operational and program costs at subdistrict level.
∎ Responsible for ensuring all costs charged to the project are allowable, reasonable, and correctly allocated, providing oversight and quality assurance.
∎ Developing the capacity of project Staff & Service provider:
∎ Ensure all personnel-related issues for the designated project(s) staff are carried out by LAMB policies/guidelines.
∎ This includes recruitment, performance appraisal, objective setting, development and training, disciplinary action, etc.
∎ Monitoring and reviewing performance and, in particular, holding staff accountable for meeting the success criteria and delivering any improvement goals that have been identified; giving corrective feedback where required, and taking decisive action in the case of poor performance.
∎ Ensure spiritual concepts & holistic approach in communication, service delivery, administration and resolution of conflicts
∎ Comply with LAMB policies, practices and donor compliance with respect to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunity and other relevant policies and organizational values.
∎ Other responsibilities assigned by the line manager or organizational management. Be an example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision, and values.
∎ Any other duties assigned by respective Supervisor.
∎ Job Summary: The Technical Coordinator is responsible for achieving the objectives of the Project by providing efficient, high-quality service delivery, implementation and maintaining relationships with GOB officials, LGIs, community groups, donors, and other project personnel. UzM/TC contribute to achieve the overall goals of CHDP as well as the organization, monitor progress, assist Field Coordinators in planning and implementing activities, provide supportive supervision to staff (FCs, CHWs, CSBAs and Midwives).
