Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science and Bachelor in Health Care Science/Rehabilitation Science is preferable from any renowned university. Candidate having more than one post-graduation degree relevant to Health & Rehabilitation will be added advantage.
∎ Minimum 2-3 International Post Graduate cert. Training related with Children/Persons with disabilities Intervention/ Rehabilitation or Management
∎ Minimum 2 first division/Class till Bachelor level & in case of CGPA 3.50 (out of 4) in Master level. No 3rd division/class will be considered.

Job Context:
∎ Disabled Rehabilitation & Research Association (DRRA) is a non-government, voluntary development organization in Bangladesh working for the destitute and person with disabilities since 1996.
∎ Technical Adviser - EHD will work as a member of the EHD project management team & reporting to Team Leader-TQA/Advisor- Inclusive Health and Rehabilitation and maintain functional relationship with Project Director. She/ He will lead the Technical team of the project independently and should have quality of Technical knowledge`s, planning, & implementation, & commitment to rights of Persons with Disabilities.
∎ Job Nature: Project Contract.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide guidance and supervision to Technical Team of the project under direct guidance of Team Leader-TQA, DRRA.
∎ Ensure Technical Quality of the project eg: E-Health, Capacity building of health workers & clinic staffs, Surveillance, Accessibility Audit, and Advocacy for inclusive health initiatives and finding the adaptive approaches for disability inclusive health;
∎ Capacity building and hands on training for Skills development of technical staffs ;
∎ Take initiative for Technical capacity building of Consortium partner Organizations regarding inclusion of persons with disabilities;
∎ Supervise team for conduct TNA, preparation of training manual and facilitation of the training sessions
∎ Maintaining coordination with consortium Partners for all technical issues;
∎ Contribute to develop project tools, guideline, and framework.
∎ Facilitate disability inclusive health and rehabilitation training, workshops etc. designed for project stakeholders including staffs;
∎ Ensure all good practice and lesson learned collection on time with quality;
∎ Support to Project Director as requested regarding all disability Technical issue;
∎ Performing any other duties and jobs as per the directives of the Line Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 8-10 years post qualification experience in the field of Rehabilitation, Disability & Development or Experiences in working with persons with disabilities in NGOs specially in Rehabilitation related works-at least 08 years, 3-5 years in Senior level positions (Experience in Community Based Rehabilitation is preferable) with any National/International organization.
∎ Minimum 7 years' experience to play role for Disability Rehabilitation. Manage complex/multiple Disability Rehabilitation Project particularly rural areas (CBR, Children with Disability rehabilitation Project is preferable)
∎ Working experience in International organization is preferable;
∎ Experience to work with International/National NGO through partnership will be added advantage;
∎ Previous supervision skills to Rehabilitation professionals;
∎ Excellent facilitation skills;
∎ Experience on Disability inclusion/ mainstreaming through consortium project/ program;
∎ Good understanding on Medical, Social & Rights model for persons with disability Rehabilitation;
∎ Understanding on CBR Matrix, Disability rights and protection act -2013, UNCRPD & SDG;
∎ Experience to lead a team comprises with Rehabilitation Professional is preferable;
∎ Good communication skills in both oral and written English and Bangla;
∎ Good computer skills e.g. MS words, power point, Outlook, excels etc ;
∎ Experience in Training & capacity building activities related to children with disabilities/ management/rehabilitation will be added advantage;
∎ Leadership and facilitation capabilities;
∎ Knowledge management and Advocacy;
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to DRRA vision, mission, and long term development work to significantly improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized persons with disabilities . Candidates must be capable of displaying great learning agility, support and encouragement of knowledge sharing across Project/ projects, to the ultimate benefit of all of DRRA's mission wide initiatives.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 130000 - 150000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary is may be negotiable for highly deserving candidates.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Monthly gross salary plus other admissible benefits as are per org. policy.
