Education:
Diploma/B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any recognized university/college.
At least 03 years working experience in development field of construction/small scale infrastructure work.
Possession of a valid Motorcycle Driving License is mandatory.

Prepare, review, and approve civil/structural designs.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design or site issues.
Coordinate permitting processes, including environmental and geotechnical approvals.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context and Responsibilities:
The Construction Engineer will be responsible for implementation of day-to-day activities under guidance & supervision of the Project Coordinator. The post will play an oversight role in the assigned project area. It will specifically be responsible for work scheme and infrastructure work with the support of project. He will also follow up on emerging issues at the construction area. The Construction Engineer will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Conduct technical assessment, Identify Scheme, design, BOQ and maintain construction work in a safe and timely.
Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up outline
Assess potential risks, materials and costs of road construction and well installation.
Liaise with a variety of related stakeholders and oversee day to day on the ground coordination.
Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc.
Maintain available documentation and database of scheme related issues and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
Organized and facilitated community consultation meeting and take necessary approval from Union Parishad and Upazila level as per the project plan.
Timely submission of completion report as per management and donor requirement.
Responsible to do any other task assigned by management.
Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
Ensure adherence to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, and PSEA policies.
Support risk identification and mitigation at field level.
