∎ M.Sc./ B.Sc. in Computer Science or CSE/ ECE from reputed University (3rd division in any level need not to apply).
∎ Should have CCNA Certification, MCSE Certification

Job Context:
∎ UCL is looking for a System Administrator to administer the database and maintain hardware and networks. The ideal candidate should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. He/she should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users. The goal will be to ensure that the technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
∎ Job Location: Head Office.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administer, configure and integrate new hardware and software
∎ Manage network servers and technology tools
∎ Configure, maintain, upgrade and support company's networks and systems
∎ Identify and solve any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
∎ Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
∎ Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
∎ Maintain existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
∎ Establish and maintain database backup and recovery policies and procedures
∎ Implement and maintain database security and performance monitoring
∎ Upgrade systems with new releases and models
∎ Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 6 to 8 years as System/ Network Engineer/ Administrator in ISP or Network Solution Provider or in Bank/ NBFI
∎ Sound knowledge about Routing and Switching
∎ Sound knowledge about virtualized environment (VMware)
