Key Task & Responsibilities:-
Perform laboratory testing of fabrics and garments following international standards (e.g., ISO, AATCC).
Validate key performance indicators like fabric weight, yarn count, dimensional stability, appearance after washing spirality, pilling, etc.
Inspect garment workmanship (e.g., stitching quality, measurement accuracy, garment twist, trims application, etc.).
Prepare detailed technical reports on fabric/garment validation and propose recommendations for non-conformities.
Collaborate with suppliers and production teams to ensure proper pre-shipment quality.
Fabric mills visit and quality inspections.
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of testing protocols and standard operating procedures.
Contribute to test method development and fabric risk analysis for new materials.
Ensure quality-related data integrity and documentation accuracy.
Deliverable Outcomes:-
Consistent validation reports aligned with Recover™ internal standards and customer expectations.
Timely detection and reporting of deviations with action proposals.
Improved first-time-right rates and reduced claims related to fabric and garment performance.
Knowledge-sharing contributions to the global lab network and supplier base.
Support for product development and sourcing decisions with technical validation data.
