∎ The Supply-Chain Planner is responsible for making sure that all forecasts are received, registered and matched with firm demand. S/he ensures that the future demand needs of the requesting departments are available in the JD Edwards software system by uploading forecasts. S/he sees to it that all forecast inputs are processed, and that goods sourcing meets demand in the most efficient and effective way.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Acts as logistics focal point in the delegation's demand planning process, Monitors Material resource planning (MRP) suggestions, analyses supply and demand and makes appropriate recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy.
∎ Formulates & implements sourcing based on the delegation stocking strategy for each category identified in coordination with staff requesting services and the logistics team ensuring the most effective and efficient inventory management.
∎ Responsible for the delegation's consolidated demand figures and proposes and monitors items in stock based on their analysis and maintains the contingency stock items list (if any) in line with the delegation policy
∎ Based on MRP system create draft Order Purchase (OP), Order Transfer (OT), Order Inter sites (OI) and Work Orders (WO)
∎ Create ST/OTs for upstream order lines to GVA for confirmed stock items.
∎ Sets and updates (if needed) in the MRP system parameters, item of along with uploading supply Requests from other sites into the settings in ERP system.
∎ Proposes the revision of the forecast type (I1, I3) to the relevant Coordinators and the Logistics Country Manager.
∎ Defines and proposes to the Logistics Country Manager the update "safety" stock level.
∎ Prepares and plans bilateral meetings with each department, whenever needed (monthly and/or ad hoc basis)
∎ Prepare MoM of the CDP and share with all Participants of the meeting for post approval.
∎ Analyses items' historical behaviour and forecast accuracy, and provides requesting departments with the results, main trends and deviations.
∎ Supports focal points within the requesting departments (e.g. Health Unit, Water and Habitat Unit) in making and correcting their monthly forecasts.
∎ Prepares & provide report from ERP system as & when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience in relevant or similar field..
∎ Experienced in planning & forecasting.
∎ Experienced in using specialized software.
∎ Fluent command of English and advanced computer literacy.
∎ Excellent sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
∎ Ability to empathize to people who are in vulnerable situation in the country.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, respecting the established framework.
∎ Ability to define priorities.
∎ Ability to adapt to and work in a multicultural team environment.
∎ Team spirit and capacity to integrate a multidisciplinary approach.
