Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage the Content Management System (WordPress)
∎ Resolve server performance issues by working closely with DevOps
∎ Ensure website is ADA compliant
∎ Ability to deliver quality work with a sense of urgency
∎ Ability to be a positive influence on your colleagues
∎ Ability to work with modern frontend workflow
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3+ years of experience with all aspects of web development including PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/ES6
∎ Practical experience with Object-Oriented PHP
∎ Good understanding of semantic HTML5 markup
∎ Experience with CSS3 (SASS preferred)
∎ Demonstrable experience writing, and debugging, queries in MySQL
∎ Practical understanding of content management systems
∎ Experience building Wordpress plugins
∎ Experience with MVC frameworks
∎ Experience with source control systems such as GIT
∎ Experience with SSH and Shell
∎ Experience with gulp/webpack
∎ Strong sense of ownership and pride in the products you build
∎ Good communication skills in English with experience of working with offshore teams
∎ Nice to Have:
∎ You built your own CMS
∎ You have open-source frontend project on npm
∎ You have composer plugin on packagist
