Job Context:
∎ We is looking for Quality Assurance for our buying office.
∎ Workplace: Chattogram .
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement quality assurance plans and strategies for the garments manufacturing process, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages.
∎ Strong knowledge in all apparel categories and production methodologies with technical knowledge.
∎ Reviews/understands buyers tech packs and comments and explain /advise factory the development of garments accordingly.
∎ Work on set target to fits/PP sample and minimizing re-inspection.
∎ Evaluate measurement, workmanship, quality, construction of garments samples
∎ Provide remedial advice to factories on the detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship & construction of garments, and also, in the case of fabrics on issues like shading, weaving defects, etc.
∎ Stablish and enforce quality control procedures in the production factory , including inspections, sampling, and testing, to ensure that garments meet the specified quality standards and are free from defects.
∎ Monitor production processes, equipment, and workflow to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent quality output.
∎ Utilize statistical methods and tools to analyze production data and identify trends, patterns, and variations that may affect product quality.
∎ Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality assessments of garments at various stages of production to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, inspection results, and corrective actions taken. Prepare reports and communicate quality performance to senior management, customers, and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Collaborate with customers to understand their quality expectations, address any concerns or complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction with the delivered garments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ At least 10- 15 year(s) in a similar position working for/with a Japan & USA customer .
∎ Fluent in Bangla and English, as well as computer literate.
∎ The candidate should have sound knowledge of woven & knit production.
∎ Should be self-motivated, sincere, and have excellent leadership skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
