Educational Requirements:
∎ Post Graduate / MBA in any discipline with Diploma in Merchandising will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibilities to look at designated accounts assigned by the management, and provide updates.
∎ well versed in monitoring the production & Sales follow-up and costing, strong knowledge about fabric sourcing, printing and embroidery workshop must be self-organized quality and customers placement.
∎ Follow up on sample developments and production with a high degree of personal responsibility.
∎ Attend buyers meeting, negotiate, secure and execute with the reporting manager.
∎ Customer correspond day to day with respective manner.
∎ Price negotiates with factory effectively to hit customer target.
∎ All required submission as per Buyer's demand including Gold, Black, Sample Fabrics, Trim Booking, etc.
∎ Co-ordinate with Production Team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.
∎ Coordinate with Planning Manager to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing all order in the lines.
∎ Work closely with QA to ensure best final product. Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
∎ Weekly progress report to management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Candidates must have minimum 7 years working experience in an export oriented Garments / Buying House as a merchandiser.
∎ Strong Denim experience will be given preference.
∎ Should have product costing knowledge and will get preference.
∎ Should able to work under pressure.
∎ Have knowledge on ERP system.
∎ Capable to manage different Buyer's requirement independently.
