• A clear demonstration of sophisticated production scheduling abilities is required.

• Capability to distill complex supply chain principles into simple terms

Northern Corporation Limited, a reputed company, manufacturing garments for world class global brands is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professional for the role of Sr. Manager/Manager, Planning (Knit Garment).

• Develop and implement production plans based on order volumes, sales forecasts, and inventory levels.

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth workflows and on-time delivery.

• Create schedules that optimize capacity utilization, minimize downtime, and balance workloads.

• Monitor and control raw materials, fabric, trims, and other inventory items.

• Ensure optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.

• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials as per production needs.

• Analyze market trends, seasonal demand fluctuations, and historical data to forecast future production needs.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer demand and adjust production plans accordingly.

• Evaluate demand vs. production capacity and recommend adjustments or outsourcing if needed.

• Coordinate with the quality control team to ensure product standards are met before dispatch.

• Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process improvements and waste reduction.

• Monitor production efficiency and implement corrective actions for any deviations.

• Develop strategies for optimizing resources and achieving production targets at minimal costs.

• Generate reports on production status, inventory levels, and lead times for senior management.

• Analyze production and sales data to improve planning accuracy over time.
