Job Responsibilities:
∎ Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships.
∎ Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
∎ Excellent knowledge of commercial department relating to purchasing, LC terms, early discounting.
∎ Excellent time management skills and supply chain management.
∎ Create structure in place for merchandisers for booking fabrics and accessories for on time sampling and shipment.
∎ Source and Manage high volume of Fabric and Accessories.
∎ Coordinate with Marketing and Merchandising team.
∎ Excellent knowledge about up to date raw materials and manufacturing costs for all related items.
∎ Negotiate, Re-negotiate vendor contracts in favor of the company.
∎ Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
∎ Develop strong, functional relationships with key suppliers in home and abroad.
∎ Perform periodic analyses to evaluate overall cost savings after implementation of new strategies.
∎ Ensure that all practices are consistent with company guidelines and regulations.
∎ Source potential suppliers on regular basis, Evaluating Suppliers' qualification & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders.
∎ Collect quality report from factory on various yarn, fabric & accessories and communicate suppliers for any quality deviation.
∎ Maintain inventory of store by using ERP Software.
∎ Receive materials from local/foreign suppliers and any other sources as per LC/purchase approval document in JIT (Just in Time).
∎ Distribute store materials as per requisition.
∎ Ensure all receive and Distribution of Store materials are properly documented and released.
∎ Maintain proper records, receive stores, tags and track surplus materials.
∎ Prepare monthly stock-report regularly.
∎ Follow up buyer wise Materials.
∎ Collect Supplier Purchase Order (SPO) from merchandising department.
