Job Context:
∎ Robintex Group is a renowned RMG company in Bangladesh. It is a joint venture of Bangladesh - Germany, located at Vulta, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. The company is looking for a dynamic professional as the Sr. Manager in Sewing Department.
∎ Job Location: Factory Site
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensures achievement of targets and guide the entire team to attain targets for the respective unit within given time-frame.
∎ Concentrates about all kinds of input received, studies capacity of operation, identifies and removes constraints to make optimistic use of man, machines and materials.
∎ Directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the Sewing Department ensuring that the plan is adhered to by buyer requirement.
∎ Monitor requisition, issue, storage and distribution of accessories in order to reduce waste.
∎ Recommends Departmental plans based on marketing and sales teams' product requirements and follow up the consensus plan.
∎ Assures that employees' disciplines are effectively administered and that employee grievances are addressed in timely and proper manner.
∎ Manages and maintain a work environment conducive to achieving high productivity, utilizing manpower, materials and machines correctly.
∎ Directs and controls the improvement of sewing processes & reduce all types of wastage by proper planning.
∎ Oversees and gives guidance when required in order to manage quality.
∎ Guides & trains up the new employee and motivate employees for higher productivity.
∎ Meet garments sewing requirements.
∎ Reviewing reports and recommending solutions to meet the predetermined standards.
∎ Ensure corrective and preventive action to ensure quality products.
∎ Keep liaison with various departments including Production, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Printing, Quality, IE, Laboratory, and others for ensuring quality and meet the scheduled shipment.
∎ Develop time and action calendars for managing all programs.
∎ Acknowledge, understand, implement and emphasize on buyer's quality control mechanism in order to ensure safety and hazard free product.

∎ Substantial practical experience in any reputed RMG.
